ABOUT CAFE EMPTY
Cafe Empty is a queer-owned indie game studio based in Australia, founded by Curtis Campion in 2018.
We make heartfelt, narrative-driven games that centre LGBTQIA+ stories and characters, built by a small team who care a lot about the people who play them.
The studio launched its award-winning premier indie game, Newfound Courage, in 2018. Soon afterward, Cafe Empty released a follow-up holiday-themed DLC, Winter's Fair.
In June 2022, Newfound Courage was remastered and re-released, first on Xbox, and then on Steam and itch.io. The new edition included Return to Otherwhere, a substantial new chapter in the game's story.
